No question, just trying to save you some of our grief.
We upgraded to 8.9.3 sendmail and replaced binmail with procmail. We use
Clemson pop3 daemon for ultimate pickup. We got all sorts of concatenated
mails on an apparently random basis which required three tweaks to fix as
follows:
add b to the invoking flags for procmail in sendmail.cf
enable the retain Unix style from lines option in sendmail.cf
modify the Clemson source of mailbox.c to increase the buffer size for
parsing to 4096 and recompile
