Hi everyone......and now for my next question!!

Alphaserver 4100 - DU4.0D - I seem to have a problem with one of my ADVFS File sets / disk sets........

/JSS
/JSS2
/JSS3....AND SO ON.......

I have a script that runs nightly...it copies an oracle db from /JSS to /JSS2, this is then used as a test db. Last nights run failed - prior to the copy starting there was 13GB free space on /JSS2, the db is 10GB in size. It began to copy the files, as normal, but then crashed out half way through. Upon checking, there were several files with 0 byte size and several files with normal file size - but these only came to 2.5GB in size. I then did df -k and the /JSS2 was at 100% !?!

I then removed the files from /JSS2, that were copied over, and then the /JSS2 was back at 13GB free again.........can anybody help? Ideas what to look for?

Cheers
