serial mouse + X, it is possible

Ok, I have an alpha running Tru64 5.0.
this system has an AT style keyboard connector and 2
serial ports where I have 1 mouse (comm2) and 1 serial console (comm1).

I recently installed a video adapter into this system and I want to run
X on it. I edited Xserver.conf in /usr/lib/X11 so that it loads the
serial mouse driver. I have the device set to /dev/tty01.
X starts up but the mouse does not move at all and on the serial console
I have a silo over run message being reported by the ace1 driver (driver
for the second serial port, the one the mouse is on).

Under 4.0D I did basically the same set up and had this all working, but
It does not seem to work with 5.0.

Thanks
Nick
