Is it ok, letting users mount the local cdrom

Hi Managers,

We are running DU4.0f on Compaq Alpha Personal Workstations.

Our users want to have access to their own CDs they bring with

them. Is it a possible security problem, to let the users

use the mount commando - I think it is.

Is there a common resolution for giving users access to their

CDs? Maybe with a command I don`t know? Or do they have to

mount it (chmod the /dev/rz4c device?)

Bye.
