Old hardware and new software

Hi-

I've been asked to upgrade a DEC3000 workstation (with 128MB and 2
internal
and 4 external rz28 disks) from DU4.0b to DU4.0e or possibly DU4.0f.

Is this a feasible project and more importantly, where might I find a
good reference point for this sort of question in the future?
