The general consensus was that netscape is just plain buggy. A couple
seemed to indicate that O3D was not the culprit, altho one indicated
seeing old versions of O3D causing crashes. Arne's experience of
unlimiting the stacksize softlimit helping did not seem to change
anything for me. A suggestion to clobber all the .netscape files except
bookmarks and cookies (if crashes are limited to specific users, which
they are not) didn't seem to help. Mike suggested reverting to
version 4.08, altho he sees that crash too (but not as often). That's
what we'll probably do.
