Weird automount problem.

Hello,

I have a Alpha server running Digital Unix 4.0E and it is exporting
several file systems. The exports has entries in it such as:

/as1/home -root=0
/as1/home1 -root=0
/as1/home2 -root=0
/as1/home3 -root=0

I have automount running on other machines that access these file
systems. The auto.master file contains :

/net -hosts
/- auto.direct

This setup seems to work fine for our needs except for one thing. The
hostname is as1. When I am on one of the worstations and go to
/net/as1/as1 and execute the ls command, I see all of the directories
that are in the exports file of host as1 except for the "home"directory.
All others are available.

If I put the mount point for /as1/home in the auto.direct file, it
mounts fine so I know it is being exported properly.

Has anyone seen this problem? I am thinking that implementing the
automounter with -hosts in the auto.master will not allow you to have a
file system called "home". Does this make any sense? Help is greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
