adding memory to an alphaserver1200 (fwd)

Dear All,

Is adding a couple of simms (2x256M) into an alphaserver 1200 a do it
yourself job? Or should I fork out some extra money to have my supplier
come in and do it?

I've never taken the top/sides off myself yet to have a poke around, and
only seen the insides from a distance when having boards replaced by
engineers.

I've added memory into an old alphastation + many PC's, so I'm happy with
the general idea.
