Immediate thanks to Roberto Romani, who points out that dlm stands
for "Distributed Lock Manager", part of TRUcluster (and not to
be found on machines without it.

Sorry for asking such a basic question, but...

I'm installing Oracle on a DU^H^HTU 4.0D machine, and the install
instructions talk about a configuration to the dlm subsystem. Such a thing
doesn't seem to be present in the kernel on _any_ of my machines, nor can I
find anything about it in the documentation - what is it, really? Where
        should I have looked?

        Thanks.
