Quite some time ago I said:

I am planning on attending the Large Installation System Administration
(LISA) conference this November 7-12 in Seattle and was wondering if any
other list members were going to be attending. If so, and if there's
interest perhaps a get together of some sort would/could be in order.

And I received 7 replies from individuals intending/hoping to attend. As a
few of the individuals asked that their names not be mentioned in the
"summary" (since they weren't sure if they be able to go), I have not
included any names. Most individuals mentioned having a BOF in their
replies. I'd be willing to set one up but I do not have anything specific
to discuss, I was just curious if other list members would be in attendance
and would want to meet. So, if there's a great desire to meet formally, as
in hold a BOF, I'd appreciate it if those who plan on attending LISA would
let me know. If there isn't a great desire to meet *formally*, we could
just arrange something amongst ourselves or do nothing at all.
One individual also said "At the very least, we'll need to create badge
dots!". Having no idea how one goes about creating them, I'll leave that to
others.
