CDE login problem...

We have Alpha Station 433a/u with DU4.0D.
We are able to login over the network, but not on the console with CDE.
The screen hangs with CDE startup blue screen.

Tried re-loading CDE subsets, but still the problem is there.

Anybody knows the solution, kindly help us.
