Hello managers,
My apologies for the delay in responding! I got so much responses.
The most of them suggested to play with limit what I did without
success. Other suggestions are to modify maxdsize, vpagemax, maxssize,
vmmaxsize in the kernel and rebuild it. I haven't done it yet but as
soon as I can shutdown the workstation, Il will modify the kernel
parameters.
Great thans for the help to Peter Stern,Knut Hellebų,
David Warren, Hank Lee ,
Gwen Pettigrew and alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com who suggested also to use dxkerneltuner,
John Becker says : Try increasing in /etc/sysconfigtab
proc:
per-proc-stack-size
max-per-proc-stack-size
per-proc-data-size
max-per-proc-data-size
max-per-proc-address-space
per-proc-address-space
vm:
vm-maxvas = equal to largest size set above.
