Q: Problem with default route

Hi everybody, I have a Compaq ES40 with Tru64 UNIX 4.0f Patch 1, is a
mail server using Post.Office 3.5.3, and I don't have routed nor gated
configured, because all I need is a simple default route, initially this
machine starts with this route, as I can see using the command netstat
-nr:

default xxx.yy.zzz.25 UGS 0 0 tu0

But after a while, the same command displays this:

default xxx.yy.zzz.35 UGMS 2 339 tu0

I can't understand why this is happening. The .35 is a Total Control
RAS, the .25 is a Cisco router.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
