In preparation for conversion from 4.0B to 4.0D I went through the output
listing of the setld -i command.
We originally used the Pathworks for Netware application, but Samba replaced
it functionally.
Is it safe to remove the modules involved prior to the upgrade?
Here are the ones I propose to delete:
NASBASE710 installed Digital NAS Packages for Digital UNIX
PWKCONFIG610 installed PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX - PATHWORKS
Configuration(PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX (Common))
PWKLIC610 installed PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX - License
Server(PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX (Common))
PWKMAN610 installed PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX - PATHWORKS Man
Pages(PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX (Common))
PWKNW3SVOL610 installed PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX - NetWare System
Volume(PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX (NetWare))
PWKNWBASE610 installed PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX - NetWare
Services(PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX (NetWare))
PWKNWTRAN4610 installed PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX - NetWare
Transports(PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX (NetWare))
PWKRNOTE610 installed PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX - Release
Notes(PATHWORKS for Digital UNIX (Common))
Thanks for any help and of course I will summarize the results.
Bob
