Hi,
A few *months* ago I asked how to analyse http connections and
performance. Ultimately, I annoyed with the Netscape V4.6/4.7
occasionally freezing/hanging and crashing. My original poster is:

There are numerous posters in the tru64-unix-managers archive regarding
the stability of Netscape. After bashing my head repeatedly on the wall, I
finally came across two Netscape preferences which greatly aid the
performance of Netscape. Place the following in ".netscape/preferences.js"
user_pref("browser.delay_images", true);
user_pref("browser.display_while_loading", false);
Of course, these preferences and others can be enforced on all users by
using a wrapper around Netscape. For more information see the following
summary:

Regards,
Rich
