The answer was to add "options PROCFS" to my /sys/conf/SYSTEMNAME file.
As suggested, I added it to the file, did a doconfig, copied the new kernel
to / and rebooted - life is good again!

Original Message:
Hi,
I've got a problem on a 4.0D, Patch Kit 3 system...
When the system boots (the blue screen stuff) it produces an error trying to
mount the /proc directory. (It goes by fast and I can't remember the exact
message!)
But, once the system is up, if I try to mount /proc, I get the following:
# /usr/sbin/mount -t procfs /proc /proc
/proc on /proc: No such device or address
Any idea what this means?
Thanks,
Jim
