        Managers,

I had observed

>I am running Tru64 UNIX 4.0f(PK1) on a dual-processor DS20. I am trying to
>install a font server, but when I try to start the server:

>> # /usr/bin/X11/xfs
>> IOT trap (core dumped)

The problem turns out that the default configuration file shipped with 4.0f,
/var/X11/fs/config, is broken. It contains a catalogue entry
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1Adobe/ which was not there.

Thanks to Terry Horsnell <tsh_at_mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk> who got me thinking about
checking the fs-errors file.
