We have a customer running Digital Unix V4.0D on alpha Server 1200 5/500
system. We have a TZ89-VW DLT drive connected to the internal expansion box
of the system. The system is running Oracle 7.3.3.x and SAP R/3. It has an
RA7000 connected to it.
The problem is - when we run cpio command to take backup with 200k block
size(with -C switch), it gives Write I/O error. If we run the same command
with 50k blocks, it works fine. Can any one help me out on this ??
An external table-top TZ88 drive is working fine with 200k block size option
of cpio.
