High Utilisation

It's that question time again!!

One of my systems - Tru64 (it's much easier typing DU) 4.0d no PK's at the moment, 1GB Memory, 80GB disk space and 1 CPU (5/400), 1.5GB Swap space, 2 Live Oracle 7.3.4 DBs _at_ 17GB each and a couple of smaller ones.

I have roughly 40 users who connect to the 2 DBs either via login to the box OR via Oracle Listener and Forms.

My main problem is this......when the users send a print job, they are finding that it is taking anything up 20-30 minutes before anything starts to come out!?!? Printing is via a selection of remote HP printers with Jetdirect cards and IP.

Also the system seems to spend a lot of time in the upper %80+ CPU Utilisation - I have run sys_check (114) it suggest making a couple of changes but nothing major.

Any suggestions?

Cheers
