PROBLEM1:
daemon.log:
Nov 11 19:05:44 EDSO [400]: **ERROR svrsys_fru_parse.c line 1031: FRU Table
revision 2.0 is not supported
SOLUTION1:
FRU is "Field Replaceable Unit", a table formatted by the firmware upon boot.
Kernel expects a certain version of it and the firmware on my older machine is
outdated, as it seams. Firmware upgrade is suggested and I'll do it, ASAP.

PROBLEM2:
daemon.log:
Nov 8 19:24:38 EDRU [404]: Initializing the thresold structure
Nov 8 19:24:38 EDRU [404]: WARNING svrMgt_persist.c line 364: error m
opening /etc/thresholds.dat
Nov 8 19:24:38 EDRU [404]: WARNING svrMgt_persist.c line 127: error m
linking /etc/thresholds.dat and /etc/thresholds.dat.bak
SOLUTION2:
This seams to be a minor bug in SNMP. "touch /etc/thresholds.dat" should solve
it.

PROBLEM3:
daemon.log:
Nov 9 09:46:54 EDRU telnetd[4637]: ttloop: peer died: Error 0 occurred
SOLUTION3:
Could be due to misconfigured NIC. Like I said, high loads and bad (NE2000) NIC
in DOS mode are a known source of troubles.
Thanks again to all who responded.
Nix.
