I recently installed IP filter (http://coombs.anu.edu.au/~avalon/) on a
number of Sun systems and want to have the same functionality on my DU boxes.
Is there a similar package, or is there a way to get this to work on DU?

I've searched the archives, and haven't found an answer to this (although
I did find someone else asking the question). Further, ifconfig
<interface> filter can give me some of what I want, but not enough. What
I'd like to do is to block incoming packets based on source IP, source
port, destination port, and protocol (udp, tdp, icmp). ifaccess.conf seems to
only do host based (no ports), and doesn't look like it provides any
functionality to keep state.

Any pointers to something like IP filter will be welcome. I'll post a
summary.

Thanks!

Rob
