Hi,

I'm having difficulty installing tru64 Unix v5.0

Seems to boot fine without errors until it hangs at

isp0: fast RAM timimg enabled

then

panic (cpu 0): init_rootdev: boot device translation failed

then

DUMPS into memory and returns to the SRM console.

The machine is a PC164 that I assembled with supported hardware. There's
nothing exotic or unusual.

The machine has 512mb RAM. I've tried pulling half the RAM and reducing to
256mb.

The machine uses a EIDE CDROM drive. I've also tried a couple of toshiba
SCSI CDROM drives.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Marc
