Can anyone recommend a piece of software that would provide a serial
connection to a PC running WinNT? In the past, I'd used QVT Term by QPC
software (
http://www.qpc.com), but that has hard-coded values for which COM
ports you can choose for your connection (COM1-COM4). But in my case, I've
got a Digi board attached with COM5 - COM20 available to me. I'm trying to
set this up so that each of our servers would attached to a different COM
port for its serial console and that multiple servers could be monitored on
one PC. I've got the PC setup and ready to go, except for the terminal
emulation software.
