SUMMARY: NFS pwd funnies between SGI and tru64

The solution was to upgrade IRIX from 6.5.0 to 6.5.5

I noticed later that the problem did not exist between another Origin 2000
running 6.5.3 and the tru64 box.

All is well now, and thanks for all the suggestions!
