How to debug kernel

Hi, all,

I read the DEC kernel debug book, and I
want to debug the kernel when my 433au
system hung.
I press <Ctrl/P>, it can not work.
Then I set
boot_osflags k
in the SRM. But the system can not boot.
Why?

If someone knows, please help me.
