How to log failed login

Hello,

We are running Tru64-unix V 4.0E with enhanced C2-security.

On other OS (f.i. Solaris) all failed login attempts are logged on a file
/var/adm/loginlog.
Is there a similar capability in DU.
We have set u_maxtries to 5 and it is very easy for a malicious user
to have someone else account locked.
We want a mean to trace those malevolences.

Thanks in advance,
