I currently have three Alpha 4100 servers in a clustered environment. I
semi understand the concepts of domains, ASE services, etc… but don't
believe I understand the whole picture. I'm need to expand the size of a
directory (/exports). Here are the details:
I have a domain named: exports_domain
This domain contains a fileset named: exports_set
This domain is a member is an ASE service named: exports
The service/domain is mounted to the mount point: exports
I'm running out of space in the /exports directory. I have an additional
disk to add, but am not quite sure where I need to add it to - the domain as
a fileset or the service??? I would like to avoid another mount
point/directory name. Basically I would like to increase the /exports
directory from 4 gig (current size) to 8 gig (by adding an additional 4 gig
drive.
Is this possible? If so what steps do I need to take to do this.
I don't know if this is relevant, but I'll include the info just in case…
the /exports directory is accessible to all three of the 4100 servers.
Thanks,
Lisa
