4.0B - Implications for Y2k

4.0B is apparantly not y2k compliant, we've 2 machines left here running
this version. To be able to go to a higher rev they need a hardware
upgrade & it's looking increasingly unlikely that this will be delivered
in time.

What are the implications of 4.0B going over y2k?

If there are just 'cosmetic' problems then that is not a problem - the
machines are not used by 'mortals'.

However if there are serious implications with ASE or ADVFS (which I think
is unlikely) then we'll have to use some other hardware...
