How do I filter a file sent to remote laser printer?

DU Crew,
I know this one has been asked before...buuuut...

I am sending print jobs from a DU 4.0D server out
to a remote NT PC with a connected Digital 5100 ?

And the problem is age old:
The print jobs being sent from an application of which I
have no source code access, sends the print file obviously
only LF and not CR/LF.
The 5100 prints without the desired line-feed and no carriage return.
How do I filter the job to simply convert LF --> CR/LF ?
Remember, this is a remote print job, not local.
I don't think an "of=" , output filter is called for remotes (?).
Any help would be appreciated.

Just in Case, here's the existing printcap entry:

PCNTR4:\
        :lf=/usr/adm/PCNTR4:\
        :rm=PCNTR4:\
        :rp=NMLETS:\
        :sd=/usr/spool/PCNTR4:\
        :mx#0:

Thanks,
