SUMMARY: scheduling shutdown in the future

Thanks to the many people who responded so quickly. Several people
reminded me that 'shutdown -h' does not do a smooth shutdown under
Tru64 4.0 because the rc0 scripts don't get executed. The most
reassuring response was from Bert De Knuydt who said

I've done this before and as far as I remember there are no gotchas...
