Hello All,
Our network group has decided to upgrade our network to Gigabit Ethernet
(GbE). Currently, most of our systems are running Tru64 Unix 4.0D (with
patch kit 3). I have read the documentation that came with the DEGPA
PCI-to-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. I tried to install the driver kit from the
CD that came with the adapter but it fails. It appears that the script is
looking for a lower case path and the path is in upper case on the CD. I
have tried copying the directory from the CD to a disk and changing the case
but the problem persists. The simple installation command is just:
setld -l /mnt/digitalunix
But is doesn't work. Any ideas would be appreciated...
Further, has anyone upgraded to GbE yet? If so do you have any insights
that
might be helpful? or things to avoid?
Thanks In Advance.
