I've just finished giving Compaq Analyze v1.2 a once over. As an effective
replacement to DECevent on the newer EV6 boxes I think it still has a long
way to go. That is, if the currently documented functionality is all
that's
really available.
Does anyone know if there are any more variants to 'ca' as a command
line tool for manual bit to text translation other than the documented set?
Specificly I'd like to do the equivalent of the following during
translation:
-t s:dd-mmm-yyy (to specify a start date)
-i osf=xxx (where xxx = the event type)
-R (for reverse listings)
Plus some way to select event by priority.
And is there a way to set brief .vs. verbose mode using 'ca msg ..' ??
There's got to be something more user friendly than adding CA.Brief=true
to DESTA.REG and bouncing the director process (ugh!).
