Hi, Buddy,

I am having trouble to post this solution, hoping this time it will go
through.

Since my question was posted, I have gotten several responses and my problem
is solved now.
The solution is:
to add my terminal definition onto the database ttys.db using utility edauth
or convauth.

Method 1:
Edit your ttys text files under /usr/auth/system and add your PC's
definition to them.
A valid entry should look something like this:

mypc.statcan.ca\:0:\:t_devname=mypc.statcan.ca\:0:\:t_login_timeout#0:t_xdis
play:chkent:

Then run the utility convauth to convert this information into the database
file ttys.db.
The commandline reads this: /usr/tcb/bin/convauth -d t (Read man page on
this)

Method 2:
Add the entry directly to the ttys.db using the utility edauth. Please read
man page for the command.

Related man pages are:
ttys(4), devassign(4), edauth(8), convauth(8) and dxdevices(8).
I did not convert devassign file, but it still works for the Exceed. If you
need to convert devassign into
database devassign.db file, the procedure and format for the entry are
similar to ttys.
