Firmware upgrade, HSZ70

In the manual (HSOF version 7.x) there's a section describing a rolling
upgrade of the HSOF version (program card replacement). I recently
upgraded some HSZ70s from v7.0 to v7.3 using this procedure. However,
the Release Notes for the AIX version states that (section 3.2) "A new
feature has been added ..bla bla ... rolling upgrades to 7.3 are not
supported". I cannot find anything about this in the Solaris Release
Notes. As far as I know, the program cards for the HSZ70s are not
different for those two OSes (please correct me if I'm wrong) so I do
not understand why the rolling upgrade is OK for Solaris but not for
AIX. Anyone able to enlighten me here ?

Also, I did perform the rolling upgrade both for Solaris and AIX. So far
nothing seems to have gone wrong. Anyone knowing what bad things can
happen if you perform the AIX HSOF rolling upgrade procedure ?
