Hello,

I have attached an old cd-r on a DEC 3000 - M300LX
on which I installed Tru64 + patchkit1. The cd-r is
recognized by the SRM(orwhatever)-console and it
says something like:

JKA500 A/5/0 ... RM XRW2001 2.20
JKA501 A/5/1 ... RM XRW2001 2.20
JKA502 A/5/2 ... RM XRW2001 2.20
JKA503 A/5/3 ... RM XRW2001 2.20
JKA504 A/5/4 ... RM XRW2001 2.20
JKA505 A/5/5 ... RM XRW2001 2.20
JKA506 A/5/6 ... RM XRW2001 2.20
JKA507 A/5/7 ... RM XRW2001 2.20

But when I boot it there are no device-files created in /devices
for this one.

Can one MAKEDEV it manually and if it is possible, then how?
Or hwmgr?
