[SUMMARY] control C under 4.0E

Dear Gurus,

My problem: ^C does not work after a 4.0B --> 4.0E upgrade.

- Peter Stern and Harald Baumgartner told me they have the same problem.
Harald suspects tcsh but I am under csh...

- Rigoberto Corujo replied:

  * There was a ^C problem that was fixed in patch kit 4.*

which seems to be the definitive answer.

However, considering the problems reported in this list about applying
patches, I'm rather reluctant....

What is your advice? Should I go to 4.0F?
