Hi all.

Two days ago, one of our Alphas crashed:

AlphaServer 4100, Mylex RAID controller (KZPAC)
Digital UNIX 4.0D + SP6
Oracle 7.3.4

The kern.log reads:

Jan 8 07:19:28 EDNS vmunix: ADVFS EXCEPTION
Jan 8 07:19:28 EDNS vmunix: Module = ms_logger.c, Line = 1886
Jan 8 07:19:28 EDNS vmunix: release_dirty_pg: log half full
Jan 8 07:19:28 EDNS vmunix: panic (cpu 0): release_dirty_pg: log half
full
Jan 8 07:19:28 EDNS vmunix: device string for dump = RAID 1 3 0 0 0 0
0.
Jan 8 07:19:28 EDNS vmunix: DUMP.prom: dev RAID 1 3 0 0 0 0 0, block
262144
Jan 8 07:19:28 EDNS vmunix: device string for dump = RAID 1 3 0 0 0 0
0.
Jan 8 07:19:28 EDNS vmunix: DUMP.prom: dev RAID 1 3 0 0 0 0 0, block
262144

Is this a known bug? Should I move to SP8 (yes, I should, but I need to
know how urgent would that be).

The machine is up and running happily, at the moment.

TYIA,
Nix.
