SUMMARY:Telnet status

Thanks to all,

     the solution is ping -c 1 hostname/IP#, then there are 100% or 0% paket
loss, one only time.

     If 100% paket loss (host is down) then variable $?=1

     If 0% paket loss (host is up) then variable $?=0
