Additional - Re: SUMMARY: Graphics problems

        During my summary I mentioned that upon rebooting our system the computer
had somehow dropped into AlphaBIOS mode and the difficulties of getting it
out of this and back into the SMR console. My thanks to the three people
who sent me a surprise reply telling me that its probably due to a flat
motherboard battery. Logically, when the motherboard looses power, all the
firmware settings are reset to the defaults which includes the AlphaBIOS
bootup.

        Easy enough to fix :)
