Since we've moved the actual data of our web server to another machine (nfs
mounted), our web server keeps dieing (apache). I know the server should
running where the data is, that's the next step of our server migration....
but in the meantime I'm wondering why and looking for a better solution
than restarting the server every hour, which works.
The only errors I see are lots of these:
>httpd: [Mon Jan 22 09:23:05 2001] [notice] child pid 15353 exit signal
>Segmentation fault (11)
>httpd: [Mon Jan 22 09:23:23 2001] [notice] child pid 16142 exit signal
>Segmentation fault (11)
>httpd: [Mon Jan 22 09:23:24 2001] [notice] child pid 14577 exit signal
>Segmentation fault (11), possible coredump in /web/webkeep/apache_1.3.4
I've done some simple checks like nfsstat and dont seem to be getting many
errors.
