Question was:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------
anyone an idea what these lines in
/var/adm/syslog.dated/[date-time]/daemon.log mean:
Jan 25 08:32:19 bedvz105024 [440]: Initializing the thresold structure
Jan 25 08:32:19 bedvz105024 [440]: WARNING svrMgt_persist.c line 364:
error m opening /etc/thresholds.dat
Jan 25 08:32:19 bedvz105024 [440]: WARNING svrMgt_persist.c line 127:
error m linking /etc/thresholds.dat and /etc/thresholds.dat.bak
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------
Solution:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------
These lines are created by "A bug in SNMP module" {(C) Nikola Milutinovic}
and is fixed by
touch /etc/thresholds.dat
touch /etc/thresholds.dat.bak
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------
Rarely had a problem solved so simple ;o)
