Dear TruGurus,
I decided to finally use the gnu ls and bash with their built in
capabilities to
display prompt colors (ascii escape codes) and file type coloring. I like
it... but -
It doesn't work with xterm. This is true on the console (local) or
displayed remotely.
I've got a hunch that it it's CDE's fault. I just tried it on the console
and
the default background color matches that of the desktop's color scheme.
Can anyone tell me where the default resource/config file is that Tru64
will use out-of-box ? What I mean is - I haven't customized any X config
files
at all ( no .Xdefaults, no .xsession, etc..)
Oh, by the way - dxterm also renders no colors, but dtterm does !
Thank You,
