/etc/snmpd.conf

This question relates to Tru64 UNIX V4.0G and its snmpd daemon.

My reading of the snmpd(8) man page and of the comments in the original
/etc/snmpd.conf is that a community is restricted to either one IP address
or the whole world (0.0.0.0). If correct, this is annoying: I'd like to be
able to restrict my read-only community to a list of hosts, possibly to a
given subnet, without having to assign a different community name for each
host.

So: short of giving access to the whole world, is there any way of
configuring several IP addresses into the same community?

I'll summarize.
