Hi,

On 4.0D I changed my own personnal account password which returned the
message run mkpasswd /etc/passwd, which I did .... (wish I had not)
Now I cannot log on as myself or as root.
I tried logging on with someone elses account which worked but still can't
log in as root (even at the console)
While logged on I took a look at the passwd file and my account is simply
not there ....

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Thanks
Francis
