Thanks to Olle Eriksson, Octave Orgeron, Dr. Thomas Blinn, Peter Stern &
Colin Walters.
The multimedia kit is on CD 1 of the Tru64 5.0A associated products
CD. The system I have (AlphaStation 500/400) has a Microsoft Sound
Card. I needed to install the multimedia kit from the AP cd and then
download an updated driver for the MS sound card
from:
ftp://ftp.digital.com/pub/Digital/MME as the driver that shipped
with the 5.0A release is corrupt. There are instructions with the update
for installation.
It was also suggested that I might need the EISA configuration diskette
but this was not necessary.
