Please help!
We are trying to print halftones to our tektronix pahser 560 printer but have no success. Can this printer do that?
Other answers we got:
Diana;
Don't confuse the DPI with the LPI. The DPI is just the resolution of the
printer. The LPI is the number of halftone dots per inch - also called
Frequency. It is possible that your printer can't print hafltones - even
though it has postscript. Postscript helps to manage color also and you
need to call Tektronix to see if it will print halftones. Even though we
say you need Postscript to print halftones, the fact that your printer is
color may be the problem.
Good luck,
Scott
