Summary: A rolling patch on a one member cluster.

Hello,

Well the list did have a few tips, and thanks to all who commented. Most
of the responses I got were from people having similar problems. I ended up
going to Compaq for the answer, it was amazingly simple, although it took 2
days to figure it out. The worst part is I had all the info, I just didn't
put two and two together, so now I get to kick myself for not figuring this
out on my own.

The problem was I had cfgmgr commented out in my /etc/inetd.conf file. I
removed the comment (#) and "HUP'ed" my inetd and everything worked
perfectly.

My original problem is below.

UNIX is very user friendly, It's just very particular about who it makes
friends with.
