I learned there is no real standard in use among the UNIX community
concerning a common Filesystem Hierarchy.
General advise do not mix up applications with OS stuff.
I do agree 110%. Dr. Blinn advised to look at the Guide to Preparing Product
Kits. And John Venier from Texas showed me the way to maintenance tools
"depot" and "stow".
Thanks for helping an VMS guy who tries to learn a new trick, UNIX!
