su - <username> -c "script"

I need to run a script under an account other than root. Archives only list
the
su - <username> -c "script"
command. My problem is that the su command does not recognize the -c option
on my system and the su man pages also do not reference a -c option. I am
using ksh under TRU64 4.0D on an Alpha 4100. Any suggestions?
