    Hi managers!

We've just got a new DLT 891 (TZ89), and I'm trying to use it, but I
get these errors:

# vdump -0f /dev/nrmt1h /
path : /
dev/fset : root_domain#root
type : advfs
advfs id : 0x38b54007.0004317e.1

vdump: unable to write to device </dev/nrmt1h>; [5] I/O error
vdump: Date of last level 0 dump: the start of the epoch
vdump: Dumping directories
vdump: do you want to retry? vdump: Dumping 133350485 bytes, 504
directories, 5413 files
vdump: Dumping regular files

# vdump -0f - / | dd of=/dev/nrmt1h
path : /
dev/fset : root_domain#root
type : advfs
advfs id : 0x38b54007.0004317e.1
vdump: Date of last level 0 dump: the start of the epoch
vdump: Dumping directories
dd write error: I/O error
15+0 records in
0+0 records out

I've tried two tapes, and I've used the cleaning tape too, but it
goes on failing.
    What am I doing wrong?
Thank you very much in advance.
